Application Process

Our application process consists of two parts. Students who begin the application process after room selection opens will complete both parts at once.

Student Housing Application Part 1

Step 1: Log into the student housing portal using your Ole Miss webID and password.

Step 2: Select Spring in the top bar.

Step 3: Select the Spring 2020 application.

Step 4: Sign the electronic contract.

Step 5: Pay the $75 non-refundable application fee.

Step 6: Completing your profile.

Step 7: Acknowledge university policies.

Student Housing Application Part 2

Prepare for room selection by researching building options. You’ll want to determine your preferences prior to room selection. Be sure to choose several as building options for students entering in spring semester will be limited.

Step 1: Log into the student housing portal using your Ole Miss webID and password.

Step 2: Choose your room.

Roommate Note: If you’ve connected with a current resident with whom you’d like to live, you will still need to choose a room. After you have chosen, please email housing@olemiss.edu with your desired roommate’s information. If there is an available space in that room or apartment, student housing staff will change your reservation to that space.

Step 3 (optional): Use the room change section to view available spaces and change rooms, if desired, as many times as you wish prior to time 4:00pm on December 18, 2019, which is the last opportunity to change rooms prior to move in. The next available opportunity for room changes will be during spring semester.

Roommate Information

Resident information, where available, is available during the room selection process for rooms with occupied spaces. You’ll be able to view residents’ profiles in order to find someone with whom you’d like to live.

If you’d like to connect with a roommate prior to applying for student housing, join the Ole Miss Student Housing Roommate Connections group on Facebook. Once you’ve connected with a potential roommate, you’ll need to plan your room selection together so that you choose spaces in the same room or apartment.

Campus Walk Billing Information

If you choose a room in Campus Walk, your student housing contract will be effective through date TBA. Due to the structure of the billing cycle for Campus Walk, incoming spring residents will be charged a prorated amount for dates TBA. The regular billing period for the remainder of the contract begins on date TBA.

Recontracting options for current residents for 2020-21 are based on availability.
